How we practice
Estate planning is personal work. It involves your family, your money, and decisions most people would rather not think about. Our approach is to make that conversation as clear and comfortable as possible: we explain each document in plain language, recommend only what your situation calls for, and quote fees before work begins so there are no surprises.
Because the office concentrates on estate planning, probate, and trust administration, we have seen the plans that worked and the ones that did not. That experience shapes every document we draft.
What to expect
- A plan, not a form. Every will, trust, power of attorney, and health care directive is drafted for you and coordinated with your beneficiary designations and account titling.
- Plain-language explanations. You will understand what you are signing and why.
- Flat fees for planning. Most estate plans are quoted as a fixed fee after the first meeting.
- Continuity. When a client passes away, the same office that drafted the plan is available to guide the family through probate or trust administration.
Areas served
The office is located at 3988 Central Ave NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421, and serves clients throughout Columbia Heights, Fridley, Hilltop, New Brighton, Spring Lake Park, Northeast Minneapolis, and the wider Anoka, Hennepin, and Ramsey County area. Meetings are held at the office; arrangements can be made for clients who are unable to travel.
Preparing for a first meeting
It helps to bring a list of your assets and approximate values, recent retirement account and life insurance beneficiary statements, any existing estate planning documents, and the names and addresses of the people you would like to name in your plan. If you do not have all of that, come anyway; we can gather it together.
